Manaseer Group Launches Its First Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Refueling Station for Vehicles

The opening took place at the headquarters of Manaseer Machinery Trading Service Center, under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. The ceremony was also attended by Eng. Zeyad Al-Saaeda, Chairman of the Energy & Minerals Regulatory Commission, Eng. Mohammad Al-Khasawneh, General Manager of the National Petroleum Company, along with Eng. Yasser Manaseer, General Manager of Manaseer Oil & Gas, Dr. Ramez Khoury, Deputy General Manager, and Eng. Khaldoun Al-Deiri, General Manager of Manaseer Machinery Trading, along with esteemed partners, guests, and media representatives.
This milestone marks a new achievement for Manaseer Group and a pioneering step toward introducing clean energy solutions at the local, regional, and global levels. It aligns with Jordan’s vision to reduce carbon emissions, protect the environment, and advance the objectives of the Economic Modernisation Vision by building an integrated natural gas network and promoting the use of sustainable national resources.
Strategic Collaboration within Manaseer Group
This project brings together the expertise of Manaseer Group companies. Manaseer Oil & Gas established the station and supplies it with compressed natural gas sourced from the Risha Gas Field, while Manaseer Machinery Trading provided the optimal location, in addition to a fleet of natural gas-powered vehicles that will be used across the Group’s companies.
A Leading Station for Sustainable Clean Energy
The new station provides compressed natural gas as an eco-friendly alternative to diesel and gasoline, offering:
Reduced harmful emissions High operational efficiency Lower cost compared to conventional fuelsThe refueling process follows the highest global safety standards, from parking the vehicle in the designated space, to pressurizing and transferring the gas into the vehicle’s tank at 200–250 bar using advanced compressors and equipment, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency.
Jordanian Pioneers in Natural Gas Fleet Operations
Manaseer Oil & Gas, a subsidiary of Manaseer Group, is the first company in Jordan to operate heavy-duty trucks running entirely on CNG. The company currently operates a fleet of 15 large trucks that run 100% on this clean fuel, demonstrating its strong commitment to reducing reliance on traditional energy sources and adopting cutting-edge sustainable solutions.
As part of its expansion plan, Manaseer Group is preparing to open a specialized conversion center that will transform diesel-only vehicles to CNG-powered vehicles. This center will be housed at Manaseer Machinery Trading’s Service Center, the largest maintenance hub for heavy and medium-duty vehicles in the Middle East. Vehicle conversions will be carried out by expert engineers using the latest international technologies in full compliance with global safety and security regulations.
Additionally, by the end of September, Manaseer Machinery Trading will install a mobile station to compress gas from the Risha Gas Field up to 250 bar and transport it in specialized containers using the latest European equipment.
